shattered faith

this loser guy tells me
to look beyond this life
and all the curses stacked against me
he's got faith in a heaven
that doesn't exit.

i believe in brody when she says "i'm living on shattered faith" ... i remember the feeling of everything being ripped away.

it was sweeter when it was pretty, yes, and i'll pray for sunshine, yes and miracles.

but the answer, loserguy, isn't blind faith at the expense of all else. my heaven is myself.
